One of the alleged Pop Smoke killers recently went to Instagram Live behind bars.
HotNewHipHop reports that Corey Walker, 19, one of the defendants in the case, was on Instagram Live from his cell, where he heard Rod Wave and NoCap. While doing chores, the comments section of Walker’s Live segment shows many people asking about his involvement in the Pop Smoke murder, which he ignored.
Pop Smoke was shot and killed in a Los Angeles home invasion earlier this year. According to reports, four hooded men entered a house where the rapper was on February 19 at 4:30 am in an alleged robbery attempt. After a brief fight with the attackers and gunfire, the rapper suffered several gunshot wounds.
Five men were arrested in connection with their murders: Walker, 18-year-old Keandre Rodgers, two 15- and 17-year-old teenagers, and 21-year-old Jaquan Murphy. All were charged with murder, except Murphy, who was charged with attempted murder.
